Healthcare benefits on year 2012 W-2
We are interested in knowing what other companies are doing. This change was optional for 2011. Has someone implemented this in 2011?
We did not implement this for 2011. For 2012, we are planning to maintain required number of constants in Payroll parameters table. The amount will be different based on benefit plan, options and dependent coverage. A wage type will be created using this value (schema/payroll include). This value needs to be there in RT from first payroll of 2012. So any inputs on how other comapnies are handling this will be really appreciated. If we are not ready with the changes then we will need run retro payrolls.
Any idea if SAP will provide an additional field/additional wage type on the benefit plan to capture this value?
