Take long time MAIN_SHDCRE/SHADOW_IMPORT_UPG1 is normal?

    Hello Guys !!!

    I’m doing the upgrade directly of SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 ext. 110 to ERP 6.0 EHP6 SP07.

My sistem is Windows 2008 R2 with Oracle 11.2g

    I´m using SUM 1.0 SP07

Right now I’m in step 5.5 Preprocessing in the phase MAIN_SHDCRE/SHADOW_IMPORT_UPG1.

But take long time? Take de 15 hours by 160 GB in database.

I was checking for updates in the directory and had not recently. The last file I had recently after an hour to start at this phase.

Now i´tried to stop in the SUM but it turns out it had disconnected.

I started running again is in the same phase and the file phases.txt (D:\usr\sap\VHD\SUM\abap\logs) shows me:

    1 ETQ201 Entering upgrade-phase “MAIN_SHDCRE/SHADOW_IMPORT_UPG1” (“20130521151200”)

      Hello Surojit

I could solve using SAP OSS Note: 1635605 CLIENT HANGS ON INSERT INTO TABLE WITH LOB SecureFile.

Add the Oracle parameter via SQLnet: _use_zero_copy_io = false

With this change continued the upgrade process normaly.

      Thanks for the help
