For logger implementation in java

    Hi All,

    I have implemented logger in java code, it is working fine in local environment. When trying to deploy it on Hana Cloud it is not working at all. Application is working good but No logger printed using this logger implementation.

    Setting as follows: Code scinpt

    #log4j.properties

    # Redirect log messages to console log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender log4j.appender.stdout.Target=System.out log4j.appender.stdout.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.stdout.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss} %-5p %c{1}:%L – %m%n # Redirect log messages to a log file, support file rolling. log4j.appender.file=org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender log4j.appender.file.File=C:\\log4j-application.log log4j.appender.file.MaxFileSize=5MB log4j.appender.file.MaxBackupIndex=10 log4j.appender.file.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.file.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss} %-5p %c{1}:%L – %m%n

    # Accessing in Java Files

    static final Logger logger = Logger.getLogger(QuartzListener.class);

    then

    logger.debug(“Messsage from logger”);

    for printing the debug log.

    Let me know what more changes are needs to get the logger done and printed in console and in separate file at specified path.

    Thanks in advance..
