HEC/CAL status and version question

I have a deployed instance of HANA developer edition 1.0 Rev 72 that I using for research. The HEC/CAL status is showing “Revoked:Centrally from SAP”. What does that mean?

There are two versions of HANA available on HEC/CAL:

Free SAP HANA, developer edition 1.0 Rev 72

Free SAP HANA, developer edition 1.0 SPS 09

What is the difference between these two versions? Did the naming convention just change for the release?

      Hi Joseph,

The old HANA revision 72 was ‘revoked’ as it is obsolete – it is based on SP 7.

The currently active one is based on HANA SP 9 (revision 91) and contains most recent HANA innovations.
