RE: STS SSO BI 4.1 with SAP (NW 7.5)

      Hi All,

I have a problem with BI SSO with backend as S4 HANA on premise(NW7.5). We have configured STS SSO for BI.

We want to connect two clients of the backend SAP system with BI. 100 and 110 with OLAP BICS connection using SSO.

Now SSO is configured , all certificates and ACLs are maintained.

Everything works fine for one client 100, but doesn’t work for the client 110. We enabled security trace for the work processes and found errors in the logs as attached.

*** ERROR => Recipient client does not match with current client (see note 1055856). [ssoxxkrn.c   1110]

      N  {root-id=000001520045005400550052004E0002}_{conn-id=00000000000000000000000000000000}_0

N  Recipient client in ticket: client=100.

      N  Current system client     : client=110.

N  dy_signi_ext: current system is not the intended recipient of the ASSERTION TICKET

I have checked this note but it doesn’t help much. Has anyone faced this issue before.

      Thanks

      Regards

      Amit

Hi Prem,   There was no fix.   SAP replied via the OSS after much follow up that the BI application doesn't support connecting to multiple clients of same SAP system. via STS SSO.   So we are waiting for a patch from SAP as they have told us that they will reivew the code and if possible enhance this particular functionality.   Thanks Amit
