RE: SIA in Running Status, but Cannot Connect

      Hello Everyone!

      I’m facing a strange issue in BO Central Configuration Manager. The SIA shows status as Running. However, I cannot connect to it using client, error saying “Server is not Running”.

      Also, in CCM when I click on “Update Objects”, it asks for user credentials, then throws the same error that “Server is not Running”.

      I’m not sure where to check the error log for this. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

      Any tips on debugging this issue are highly appreciated. (Although please note that I’m rather a noob in BO server matters, so kindly elaborate your suggestions. )

      Hi,   Can you see sia.exe and cms.exe running in task manager? My hunch is that password of user use to connect to cms db has expired. You can check this by trying to log into cms database. If it has expired, then you can try reseting the password and re-run SIA.
