RE: SAP Business Objects Connections to SAP BW and an Indy EDW

      Hi,

      I have a 2 part question.

      1. Does anyone know if it’s possible to hook one instance of Business Objects up to 2 reporting warehouse’s – One is SAP BW which it is currently connected to, and then another Custom Enterprise Data Warehouse.

So for example my SAPBOBJ box with one instance of BOBJ 3.2 is connected to SAP BW, and then how would I add a separate enterprise warehouse that is just a custom oracle db.

      2. I am in the process of changing my Business Objects Databases from the default MySQL to some oracle databases. These databases are the CMS and audit, and the other 2 for Data Services – repo, and the profile. Does anyone know of a document that discusses how to repoint and migrate BoBJ to new databases for CMS, Audit, and Data Services DB for profile and repo ?

      Any help appreciated.

Sure you can. You can have a Webi report that contains queries from multiple data sources. So, you can have a table based on a query that is based on a Universe that is based on a BW data source. In the same report you can have another table based on a query that is based on another Universe connected to Oracle. Does that help?
