RE: Migrating CR to New Server

I am trying to move our Crystal Reports 11 reports to a new Windows 2012 server. I installed:

But when I run my application that uses CR 11 it works until I try to open a report. When I try to view a report, I get a blank page.

I upgraded the application from Visual Studio 2008 to Visual Studio 2012. Swap out CR 10.5 with CR 11 and it worked fine on my local machine. It is just when I deployed it to my web server is when it stopped working and the report page showed up blank.

      Any ideas?

Hi Kyle     There are at least two issues here:   1) CR 11 is not supported on WIN 2012 server 2) CR 11 is not supported with VS 2012   Your only option is to downlaod and install the "SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio". This is a free download. For links see the following Doc: SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio: Updates & Runtime Downloads Make sure to use the install exe on your dev system. Update the CR references to v. 13.x, recompile. The use the runtime MSM of MSI…
