RE: Images are not being showed at runtime in Crystal Reports viewer for Visual Studio 2010/2015.

I created a Crystal Reports Application in Visual Studio 2010. I used SQL server as database. The report displays most of the fields just right, except the image stored as a varbinary(max) field in SQL Server. This field is not shown at run-time, even though at design time the picture is visible.

I upgraded the solution to Visual Studio 2015 Community. I also installed Service Pack 17 for Crystal Reports. The images, though, are still only being showed at design time. At run-time, I get no error messages, but the image field is not shown at all.

Can you please give me some advice at this respect?

      Thanks in advance.

If your report has saved data it will show the image, once refreshed then it's going to error.   Only reason why it worked the first time, not a bug.   Don
