RE: How to create new record in standard BO when I created new records in my custom BO

      Hi Expert,

Kindly tell me how can I achieve the following scenarios,

I have one custom BO(MySalesOrder) which contains all mandatory fields of salesorder (CustomerQuote).

If I create any new reocrds into My custom BO (Mysalesorder), It should automatically create new records in salesorder BO (CustomerQuote).

Kindly tell me whether its possible to achieve this or not. and procedure to create it.

      —–

Note: In Repository view I have seen some ABSL codes to create new salesorder BO: CustomerQuote.

When I try to use that code in my action its throwing the following error

Type of the object ‘instCustomerQuote_Item’ is not defined.

Type of the object ‘instCustomerQuote’ is not defined.

Identifier ‘TypeCode’ is read-only and cannot be changed.

Identifier ‘ID’ is read-only and cannot be changed.

Identifier ‘content’ is read-only and cannot be changed.

Kindly tell me how to fix this error.

Hi Siva,   What is the deployment unit of your solution? To create Sales Order with absl, your custom business object needs to be in the same deployment unit of SalesOrder.   There is a work around if your solution is in another deployment unit. Add this to your business object definition. [DeploymentUnit(CustomerRelationshipManagement)] businessobject YourCustomBOName   Best Regards, Fred
