RE: ACT_UPG phase has been running for a long time

      Hello Friends,

Im in the process of upgrading ECC 6.0 to EHP7 and I see that ACT_UPG phase has been running for more than 20 hours now.

I see that no logs are being updated in SUM/abap/log from 20 hours

/oracle/SID/oraarch is getting full ( 100%) and automatically getting free up.

I was able to log in to shadow system and see that RDDMASGL  was running when there was free space in oraarch but unable to log in to shadow system if oraarch is full.

Can I take a back up of old files from oraarch and delete them from /oracle/SID/oraarch to free up the space ?

      Is this normal ?

Kindly let me know if something is wrong and if something needs to be done.

      Thanks and Advance,

      Chiru

Hi Chiranjeevi,   you can take archive backup and remove/move them to free-up the space. monitor this and take backup and then remove if required.   regards sunil
